Why the Sea is Boiling

Jim attempts to live a good and moral life, but he has a deep and disturbing secret that haunts

his every waking moment. A thought provoking and sensitively directed look at a very taboo topic.

"Why the Sea is Boiling" provided a number of audio challenges. Filming at a fully functioning laundromat, the beach, and South Los Angeles in general offers its fair share of sound issues, all of which were tackled with enthusiasm.

Recorded on a Sound Device 633 mixer with integrated recorder,

two Sennheiser EW 100 G3 Wireless Lavs, and Sennheiser 416 Shotgun Mic.

Edited using Pro Tools v.11. Mixed in 5.1
